We are very proud of our housestaff and feel that our training at BRG is truly outstanding. The program’s environment fosters teamwork, collegiality, and respect. Each of us chose to train here for unique reasons, but what we have found in common is the dedication to education, improvement, and high quality patient-centered medical care. We pride ourselves in being an innovative and supportive program that trains residents to excel now and in the future. Our training and the scholarly opportunities at BRG provide us with the foundation needed to practice in diverse settings, including primary care, hospital medicine, and various fellowships.

Research is highly encouraged by the program. Residents from Baton Rouge General have published in prominent journals as well as presented at regional and national conferences.
